How to run a community festival?

In a great need to escape from the metaverse and the severe state of the world we live in, many people are searching for a sense of community, including so called ‘community based’ practices and events. But what does a community entail, and what efforts do we need when organising events ‘for a community’? During this discussion we’ll gather around the table to contemplate on what community means to us, if and how it’s manageable to run community based events these days, what audiences expect from us and what we can expect from them, and all other questions that come to your mind regarding this topic.
